Hot FM

Hot FM is a Malay language radio station owned by Synchrosound Studio Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Media Prima. Hot FM started test transmission on January 15, 2006 and formally commenced operations on February 6, 2006. Hot FM formerly WaiFM was possessed by Datin Seri Tiara Jacquelina was afterwards obtained by Media Prima. Hot FM broadcasts 24 hours per day. Directed by a former presenter with Era FM, Sathiaseelan a/l Paul Thurai (Seelan Paul) Manager of Network, Hot FM broadcast blended of tunes in Malay, English and Vietnamese tunes, but the main language is in Malay. In 2009, Hot FM went down in history as for its very first time it had been charted on top one of other radio channels in Malaysia with 3.8 million weekly listeners, before its original rival Era FM which just attained 3.76 million listeners per week.
